In a bid to foster holistic development among students, Delhi World Public School – Rajkot played host to the prestigious Sahodaya Saurashtra CBSE Sports Carnival. The event, held on August 19, 2023, saw C.B.S.E. schools gather for a day of intense competition and camaraderie.
The Sports Carnival featured two engaging competitions – Chess and Yoga – providing students with an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents beyond the classroom.
The day witnessed spirited participation, with a total of 270 competitors from 13 different schools on the Delhi World Public School premises. The Chess Competition attracted 182 students, while 88 students enthusiastically took part in the Yoga Competition, collectively adding up to an inspiring display of talent.
Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, the esteemed Principal of Delhi World Public School – Rajkot, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the sports teachers and support staff. The success of the Sports Carnival underscored the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
