Hindi Diwas Celebrated at DWPS Rajkot
Delhi World Public School (DWPS) Rajkot celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm on September 14, 2024. The event began with a warm welcome, followed by a melodious group song performed by students, celebrating the richness of the Hindi language. The highlight of the day was a lively drama performance, which portrayed the evolution of Hindi literature and its impact on Indian culture.
A vibrant dance performance added color to the celebrations, showcasing the traditional and cultural values of India that Hindi upholds. A thought-provoking speech on the importance of Hindi as the mother tongue and national language was delivered by one of the senior students, emphasizing the need to promote the language in everyday life.
Principal Rajeev Ranjan addressed the gathering, praising the students and teachers for their dedication and highlighting the role of Hindi in preserving India’s cultural identity. He emphasized that while it is important to learn other languages, Hindi should always be a source of pride and a medium for uniting the nation. The celebration concluded with a pledge to promote the use of Hindi in daily communication, both in school and beyond.
