DWPS Rajkot Organized Annual Sports Meet for Kindergarten Students

Delhi World Public School (DWPS), Rajkot, organized the Annual Sports Meet for Kindergarten students with great enthusiasm. The event was held on the school grounds and witnessed full participation from young learners. The presence of parents as the guests of honor added to the excitement of the occasion.

The program began with a warm welcome by the school staff. The little participants, dressed in colorful sports attire, were excited to showcase their skills. Various games and activities were planned to encourage teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The event started with a welcome speech by Chairman Mr. Rajendra Kamdar. He emphasized the importance of sports in the overall development of children. He said, “Sports help in building confidence and physical fitness. It teaches children the values of teamwork and discipline. Every student should take part in sports activities for a healthy and active life.” He appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers in making the event successful.

The principal, Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, also addressed the gathering. He spoke about the role of sports in early childhood education. He said, “Physical activities help in the mental and physical growth of children. Kindergarten students learn best through play. Our aim is to provide them with opportunities to develop essential life skills.” He thanked the parents for their continuous support and encouraged students to participate in more sports activities.

The sports meet included a variety of fun-filled activities such as running races, relay races, obstacle courses, and ball games. The tiny tots displayed great enthusiasm and energy. Each student participated in at least one event. The teachers and staff cheered the little athletes, motivating them to give their best performance.

Parents were delighted to watch their children perform on the field. Their presence boosted the confidence of the young participants. Many parents expressed their appreciation for the school’s efforts in organizing such an engaging event.

Winners were awarded medals and certificatesat the end of the event. Every participant received a certificate of appreciation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the school sports coordinator. She thanked the management, teachers, parents, and students for making the event a grand success.
