To foster imagination, creativity, and language development among our youngest learners, Delhi World Public School, Rajkot, organized a vibrant Storytelling Activity for the Pre-Primary students. The event was conducted within the classroom environment, designed to be warm, colorful, and engaging—perfectly suited to spark the curiosity of our little ones.

The children participated with great enthusiasm as teachers narrated classic tales and moral stories using voice modulation, hand gestures, puppets, and visual props. Stories like The Lion and the Mouse, The Thirsty Crow, and Goldilocks and the Three Bears came alive with expressive storytelling and interactive questioning, keeping the young audience engaged and responsive.

The primary objective of this activity was to enhance listening skills, vocabulary, and comprehension while instilling values such as kindness, honesty, and empathy. Children were encouraged to express their thoughts, share their favorite parts of the stories, and even try retelling the tales in their own words.

The storytelling session not only entertained but also laid the foundation for effective communication and emotional development in early learners. The joy on their faces and their eagerness to participate reflected the success of the initiative.
