Hands-On Activity Promoting Experiential Learning at DWPS Rajkot Kindergarten

The Kindergarten Section of Delhi World Public School, Rajkot conducted a Hands-On Experiential Learning Activity in a joyful and engaging atmosphere, that turned classrooms into vibrant spaces of curiosity and discovery. The initiative aimed to strengthen early learning through play-based experiences while nurturing the natural sense of wonder that young children carry within them.

The activity was designed to help our little learners explore concepts through observation, touch, movement, and real-life participation rather than rote learning. Children worked with colourful materials, manipulatives, natural objects, and creative tools that enabled them to make meaningful connections with what they see in the world around them. Whether it was sorting shapes, identifying colours, building patterns, or experimenting with textures, every task encouraged independent thinking and joyful exploration.

Teachers guided the children with warmth and enthusiasm, ensuring that each activity supported foundational skills such as fine-motor development, logical reasoning, communication, and collaboration. The classrooms echoed with excitement as students engaged in group tasks, confidently expressed their ideas, and showcased their creations.

Principal Mr. Rajeev Ranjan appreciated the efforts of the teachers and the enthusiastic participation of the students. He emphasized that experiential learning not only builds curiosity and confidence but also lays a strong foundation for future academic success. “Learning becomes meaningful when children experience it,” he added.
