Promotion of Experiential Learning Through Science Activity on “Soluble and Insoluble”
DWPS Science Teacher organized “Science Activity” for class 6. It was an engaging exploration of soluble and insoluble substances using lemons. Students eagerly participated in the hands-on experiment.

Solubility is all about whether something dissolves in water or not. We learned that lemons have both soluble and insoluble parts. When we squeezed lemon juice into water, the juice dissolved because it’s soluble. But when we added bits of lemon peel, they didn’t dissolve because they’re insoluble. This helped us understand that not everything mixes with water. It was fun to see how some parts of the lemon disappeared into the water while others stayed the same. This activity taught us a lot about solubility in a hands-on and tasty way!
We explored soluble and insoluble substances using lemons! It was exciting for our class 6 students at DWPS as they got hands-on experience. It was a fun and tasty way to learn about solubility!
