‘Early Menstruation and Girls’ Health Hygiene’ Workshop at DWPS Rajkot
On August 8, 2024, Delhi World Public School – Rajkot organized a vital workshop on ‘Early Menstruation and Girls’ Health Hygiene’ for girls in grades 5 to 12. The event was held in the Kalpana Auditorium and featured Dr. Shally Modi, a renowned gynecologist from the Midtown Rotary Club, as the guest speaker.











Dr. Modi provided comprehensive insights into the physiological and psychological aspects of early menstruation. She emphasized the importance of maintaining good hygiene practices, understanding the menstrual cycle, and managing the associated challenges. The workshop aimed to dispel myths and misconceptions, fostering a supportive environment for the young girls to ask questions and share their concerns.

Principal Rajeev Ranjan addressed the gathering, underscoring the urgency and significance of discussing girls’ health and hygiene openly. He highlighted that such conversations are crucial for breaking taboos and ensuring that girls receive the knowledge and support they need during this critical phase of their lives.
