Delhi World Public School (DWPS) Rajkot, in association with the renowned newspaper Divya Bhaskar, organized a special educational visit to Shreeji Gaushala on October 16, 2024. The event, titled “Gau Sanskar Ki Pathsala,” aimed to impart valuable lessons to students about the significance of cows in Indian culture and agriculture.

Gau Sanskar Ki Pathsala: DWPS Rajkot’s Cultural Initiative

The students from DWPS Rajkot were given a guided tour of the Gaushala, where they learned about the importance of cows in sustaining rural economies, their role in agriculture, and the spiritual reverence they hold in Indian tradition. The initiative focused on the ethical treatment of animals, environmental sustainability, and the preservation of indigenous cow breeds.

The Chief Guest of the program was a representative from the Government of Gujarat, who emphasized the state’s commitment to promoting sustainable agricultural practices and protecting animal welfare. During the program, Principal Rajeev Ranjan reiterated the school’s mission of providing holistic and inclusive education, ensuring that students are exposed to a wide range of learning experiences that go beyond the classroom.

Chairman Rajendra Kamdar appreciated the efforts of both the students and teachers for their enthusiastic participation in this unique learning opportunity.
