Developing Socio-Emotional Skills: “Joy of Giving” Initiative by DWPS Rajkot

Rajkot, January 25, 2025:
Delhi World Public School (DWPS) Rajkot organized an impactful initiative titled “Joy of Giving” to instill socio-emotional skills and a sense of responsibility in its students. The program aimed to cultivate empathy, compassion, and an understanding of human nature among the young learners.

Under this initiative, students enthusiastically collected and donated essential daily-use items such as eatables, medicines, and money. The donations were carefully chosen and packed to meet the immediate needs of underprivileged individuals and families. The activity fostered a sense of teamwork and collective responsibility as students worked together to make a meaningful contribution to society.

Students interacted with the beneficiaries, gaining firsthand exposure to the challenges faced by others. This interaction provided valuable lessons in gratitude, humility, and the importance of giving back to society.

The objectives of the program were to:
