Report on Best Painting Competition Held at DWPS Rajkot
Learning Objective: The competition aimed to nurture students’ artistic skills, encourage creativity, and enhance their ability to express thoughts and emotions through visual art. It also sought to develop patience, concentration, and a deeper appreciation for aesthetics.
Learning Outcome: DWPS Rajkot students demonstrated improved creativity, artistic techniques, and innovative thinkingby participating in the competition. They gained confidence in their ability to present visual concepts, explored different mediums of painting, and understood the importance of art as a means of communication and expression.












Categories: The competition was conducted in three categories:
- Primary (Grades 3 to 5) – Theme: “My Dream World”
- Middle (Grades 6 to 8) – Theme: “Nature and Environment”
- Senior (Grades 9 to 12) – Theme: “Cultural Heritage of India”
Judging Panel: The DWPS Rajkot appointed an esteemed art educator, and , a renowned artist from Rajkot, as the judge. He meticulously evaluated the paintings based on creativity, originality, technique, and overall impact.
Principal’s Message: Principal Rajeev Ranjan appreciated the students’ participation and creativity, emphasizing the importance of art in holistic development. He stated, “Painting is not just about colors; it is about bringing imagination to life. Every stroke tells a story, and I am immensely proud of the students who poured their thoughts onto the canvas today.”
Chairman’s Message: Chairman Shree Rajendra Kamdar encouraged students to continue exploring their artistic talents, stating, “Art fosters innovation and self-expression. This competition reflects the diverse perspectives of our students and their ability to create meaningful visual narratives. Parents and teachers must continue to support these young artists in their journey.”
