  • They developed vocabulary by associating red with objects such as apples, strawberries, roses, tomatoes, and traffic signals.
  • The activities encouraged creativity, confidence, and participation among the young learners.
  • The celebration fostered joy, curiosity, and experiential learning in the early years.

“Red Colour Day is not just about introducing children to a primary colour; it is about opening their minds to the beauty of learning through observation and experience. We believe in nurturing curiosity at an early age, and days like these help children connect academics with real life. Seeing our little ones excitedly dressed in red and identifying red objects around them reflects the success of joyful learning. We are committed to creating such vibrant opportunities that make the foundation of education strong and memorable.”

Delhi World Public School, Rajkot, celebrated Red Colour Day in the Kindergarten section with great enthusiasm and delight. The entire atmosphere turned vibrant as children and teachers came dressed in red attire. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with red balloons, flowers, and cut-outs of red fruits and objects, making the theme come alive.

Children participated in storytelling sessions, rhymes, and hands-on activities such as colouring and craftwork, all designed around the theme of red. They were encouraged to identify red objects they use in daily life, which made the session interactive and experiential. The tiny tots enjoyed a fun-filled day, learning the significance of the colour red in a joyful and playful manner.
