A creative classroom session on “Developing the Concept of Position” was conducted at Delhi World Public School, Rajkotto make learning joyful and meaningful. The session aimed to help young learners understand positional words such as in, out, on, under, above, between, and behind through interactive and hands-on activities.
The teacher designed the class with engaging demonstrations using real-life objects like boxes, balls, and classroom furniture. Children actively participated in identifying and placing objects at different positions while repeating the related words aloud. The classroom was filled with excitement as students learned through play-based methods, songs, and action games like ‘Simon Says’ and ‘Where Is It?’.
The students developed a clear understanding of spatial awareness and positional vocabulary through this experiential approach— essential for early learning and daily communication. The innovative teaching strategy reflected DWPS Rajkot’s commitment to fostering active, joyful, and concept-based learning among its students.
Principal Mr. Rajeev Ranjan appreciated the teacher’s initiative, emphasizing that such creative classroom experiences nurture curiosity and strengthen conceptual understanding from an early age.
